Texas 2100 seeks Board of Directors members to lead the organization in its seven regions of Texas. Texas 2100 is in its formative stages and seeks community and business leaders who share its values of conservativism, community, family, and social responsibility. The mission of Texas 2100 is to achieve Texas’ independence by 2100 AD through an aggressive, legal and effective political process.
Board members support the overall work of Texas 2100 and provide overall mission leadership, direction, governance, and strategic insight. Day-to-day operations are led by the Executive Director (Chairman) and other management staff under the Board’s supervision. The Board serves as a critical link to the community, donors, and other key stakeholders of the Association.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for the right person to illustrate their personal and professional skills in leading a world-class organization. Members are sought for their skills, integrity, and reputation in the Community. This is a volunteer position. Expenses directly related to Board functions and required travel will be reimbursed. Board membership requires no financial commitment on your part and you are indemnified from all official actions as a member.
Specific qualifications include:
- Extensive professional experience in business, government, education, or non-profit management
- A deep understanding of the Association’s goals, objectives, and donor-base
- Savvy diplomatic skills and a natural affinity to cultivating relationships and building consensus
- Strong organization, communication, and financial skills

You do not have to be a resident of the listed cities. These are the expected regional hubs for the Association.
